Stand-alone Debian Etch installed on Trendtac EPC700

The way I did it:

  • Use the instructions from previous topics on InstallDebianHowTo
  • Use the info from trendtac hyves users, from kernelarij topic
  • Copy all /proc /dev /lib/modules from a original trendtac image (or other distro mattux, onet)
  • Copy or make your own /etc/init.d/modules for loading the correct kernel modules.

See my tarball image (144MB, extracted ~450MB) here: http://www.divshare.com/download/7713199-b3f

If you rename to Recovery_ANYTHING.img you can install it by trendtac recovery way (F3=install to /dev/nand).

login: root passwd: root

In this image I installed some basic debian applications: fluxbox xdm xserver-xorg xorg x-window-system-core x-window-system jwm vnc4server xterm nedit idesk rox-filer firefox xdialog dillo adept
